Applications

The low-speed series propeller (stirrer) is used in aeration tanks and anaerobic tanks of urban and industrial wastewater treatment plants, generating a strong water flow with low tangential cutting, which can be used for water circulation in the tank and nitrification, denitrification, phosphorus removal, and creating flow segments.

Applicable Scope

The submersible propeller (stirrer) can operate continuously under the following conditions:

1. The maximum medium temperature does not exceed 70 degrees.

2. The pH value of the medium is between 5-9.

3. The medium density does not exceed 1150kg/m.

4. Long-term submersible operation, with a submersion depth generally not exceeding 10 meters.

Service Life

 The suspended underwater propeller, under specified conditions, has an average operating time of not less than 50,000 hours before the first failure, and the overall service life is not less than 10 years.

Installation Method One

Suspended installation, with front steel wire rope traction or rear top against the wall, suitable for installation in oxidation ditches or rectangular pools without draining water.

Installation Method Two

Suspended installation, with a bottom installation support. Suitable for new facilities or installation without water.

Maintenance and Repair Precautions

● The upper reducer is installed vertically, and the oil in the box should be maintained at the oil mark position. When the oil level drops by 10mm, oil should be added in time to ensure normal lubrication of the upper gears in the box. The oil model is: Heavy-duty industrial gear oil L-CKC320#.

●  The output and input shafts of the lower steering box are both mechanically sealed, and the internal oil and mechanical seals should be replaced every two years, with the same oil model as the upper reducer.

●  A slight shaking of the underwater propeller in the direction of the water flow is a normal phenomenon and does not affect the propulsion effect and equipment life.

●  The upper suspension hook should be leveled using a level to ensure the verticality of the equipment, and its fixation should be secure.

●  The angle between the front tensioning steel cable and the water surface is 30 degrees, and the initial installation should be carried out under the guidance of the manufacturer's technical personnel.

●  Electrical installation and maintenance should be carried out by professional electricians, and after installation and each electrical maintenance, the rotation of the blades should be checked (when facing the blades or looking down from above, the drive shaft should rotate clockwise).
